STORYTELLING DINNER
Storyteller
Laura Packer makes Corner House
appearance
The Corner House Inn welcomes
Malden, MA storyteller Laura Packer, who
will be making her inaugural appearance
at the inn’s popular Storytelling Dinner
program. When Laura tells stories,
people listen. Her stories enchant,
entertain and enthrall. Whether she is
recounting a personal adventure or
taking her audiences on a journey
through time and space, listeners are
transfixed and transported. Her stories
bring listeners into the truths,
mysteries and wonders that lie in their
own hearts. Her stories will make you
laugh, think and feel. You can taste the
strawberries, feel the rain, hear the
thunder and know you will make it home
safe again.
Laura has appeared throughout New
England, at venues such as: First Night
Boston, New England Folk Festival,
Tellebration, Three Apples Storytelling
Festival, Sharing the Fire Storytelling
Conference, and Boston Public Library,
among many others.
“ Laura is a most remarkable
storyteller. She has a marvelous
instinct for telling stories that are
both epic and mythic in scope and
imagination, stories that transcend time
and space— in the tradition of the
ancient bards. She tells as though she
has been here since the beginning of
time. She is a treasure.” —Brother Blue
(Dr. Hugh Morgan Hill)
