Maine Storyteller Makes First Corner House Appearance
Dr. Phyllis Blackstone, storyteller extraordinaire and a retired educator from Brunswick ME, makes her first appearance at the Corner House Inn’s Storytelling Dinner Program on Thursday, May 4th. Phyllis comes highly recommended by fellow storytellers, and we are excited to have her sharing stories with our Corner House audience. She tells folktales, humorous personal stories, and faith-based stories with musical interludes, providing programs for children, adults and senior citizens.
On May 4th Phyllis will present a program titled: “See the USA – In a RoadTrek”, sharing travel stories from her 18,000 mile year long journey around the USA in her RoadTrek – a conversion van motor home. We’ll travel along with Phyllis as she shares funny human interest stories, accompanied with musical interludes.
Storytelling Dinners are held on Thursday evenings at the Corner House Inn from late October through May. The dinner begins at 6:30 pm, and the cost is $21.95 per person, and includes a three course meal, complimentary glass of wine, and great storytelling entertainment. Tax and gratuity are additional. For more information and reservations contact the Corner House Inn in Center Sandwich at 284-6219, or online at firstname.lastname@example.org.
